In this series, I explore the many masks we wear when we interface with others via the medium of technology.

Each image is created from a single source self portrait artwork, run through a generative adversarial network with different parameters changed, some intentionally, some randomised.

The machine is responsible for if it comes out ugly, beautiful, angelic or demonic. Human control on the outcome is limited and the algorithms have taken charge - a reflection of the experience we all now have with our own image when we use computers and the internet, whether we realise it or not.


Resonance premiered at the G5A Foundation in Mumbai on Winter solstice 2024.
Resonance seeks to explore the intersection of ancient solstice traditions, modern technology, Art and the universa lhuman connection to nature.
The project aims to exist as a 'thought experiment' which can help us explore the philosophy and ethics surrounding science, technology, spirituality and our environment via the creation of a new, imaginary, universal 'religion' using generative Al.

Resonance synthesises practices from various ancient and modern-day anamistic religions along with transpersonal and ecopsychology, with a focus on the celebration of Solstice -a time of renewal,
gratitude, and the triumph of good over evil.
